After playing for Duke, hated Duke white guys either:
1. become Duke assistants, so as to remain close to Coach K (yes, in a gay way); or
2. go on to have crappy NBA careers.
Ferry took the later route and is now the General Manager of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.The Cavs just moved into a swanky new $25 million practice facility and when Ferry took the press into his new office during a showoff tour, he found a giant UNC logo painted on his wall and a Tarheel logo on his courtside window.

Don't discriminate - the black Duke players generally follow the same career path if they stay 4 years (nice Boozer, Brand carve-out).
