I don't know if you really appreciate how great Turnipblog actually is. As blogs go, Turnipblog is top 90%. Don't believe me, scroll to the top of the page and click on the "Next Blog" button on the right hand side. This button takes you to a random blog. Most of the other blogs fall into 5 suck-types:
1. Blog not in english;
2. Blog started and abandonded after a few posts (Turnipblog has been up and running for over a year.);
3. Blog is about politics:
4. Blog is the ranting, rambling and/or musings of an uninteresting person; and
5. Blog has too many words and not enough images and visuals.
So stop taking Turnipblog for granted!

I certainly take not Turnipblog for granted. It is the one blog in existence where one can find:
1. frequent snipits of science and nature (ie. Pluto and Python eats Alligator, explodes)
2. original current event Haiku
3. kid tips drawn from true experience, helpful for those who have not yet decided if having kids is a wise thing. Read these and think long and hard.
4. home and tailgate tested recipes
5. audio blogs designed to blow the mind and eardrums (not nearly enough of them though. I think they may be my favorite feature)
6. Hate DOOK miscellaney--especially having to do with the coach. JJ's come and go. Battier's come and go. But there will always be Coach K, the weasel, to hate with a vengence.
7. And of course lots of precious, sometimes hilarious pictures of the Madeline and Sam and various other children of friends and relatives, at the game or playing soccer, or at the fair or on the beach.
These are some of my favorite features of the Turnipblog and why I read it each and every day. What's your excuse?
