Space News - Hubble X-mas Cards

This Christmas, instead of sending X-mas cards with a photo of your dogs wearing antlers or yourself wearing aviator sunglasses, why not send a X-mas card with an image from the Cosmos, taken by the Hubble Space Telescope? (link)

Disappointed with the pace and quality of Turnipblog posts lately. Hurry up and get your Christmas shopping done or something so you can focus.

I apologize for the pace (see 11/30/06 post for explanation).

Has the quality actually suffered, or do you just not like Space News because you are so self-important that you want Turniblog to limit itself to happenings on one pale blue dot in an infinite cosmos just because you happen to live on it?

I do requests, what kind of posts do you like best? (thinks to self - "Please answer "Duke-bashing"")

Have you ever gotten a comment on a space post or a Turnipseed family gathering post? If the purpose of the blog is to get people to read it and comment on it, then the quality has suffered.

Both of us who read the Turnipblog and leave comments are cynical bastards who read the Turnipblog for biting social and political commentary and/or to poke fun of your tastes in music, sports, or other entertainment.

Or to see pictures of Kelli Pickler in a cheerleading costume beating up Chris Doughtry or a Wojo/Paul-wuss lovefest.
