How do you get them to stop?
You tried washing their mouth out with soap, but they actually thought that the soap tasted good and asked for more.
The answer...
Hot Sauce.Just a drop or two of hot sauce on the tounge will make almost any kid think twice about saying bad words.
At my house, we only have to get up abruptly and stomp towards the refrigerator and Sam starts yelling "No Hot Sauce!"

For anyone who is about to report us to DSS for being bad parents, Jeff was exaggerating when he said one or two drops on the tongue - we just just our finger to the top and then touch his tongue, so there is minimal hot sauce. I promise we don't torture our children!
