The "First Funny"

Definition - The "First Funny" is the name that my wife and I gave to the first joke of a sitcom, before the opening credits.

Used in a Sentence - Q = "Has Friends started yet?" A = Don't worry, you just missed the "First Funny".

In showbiz the "First Funny" is known as "The Teaser" or "Cold Open."
